"On The Edge" was formed in 1984 and quickly became Maryland Eastern Shore's favorite dance band. The band is popular for their high energy presentation while entertaining their audiences with a wide variety of Pop hits from 60's Motown to modern pop tunes and everything in between! 

 

Ever get frustrated by the music played in bars?  Now's your chance to take over!  Patrons are encouraged to bring their own vinyl records to play in the tavern.

Shop for seasonal produce, farm fresh eggs, organics, seafood, herbs, flowers, honey, apples, natural pet treats, artisan breads potatoes, greens, tomatoes, pumpkins, kettle korn, crafts & more!

 

The Market includes an Open - Air Kitchen with weekly cooking demonstrations and during the summer months the Market stage has live entertainment. 

 

 

This event will benefit the Worcester County Humane Society.  This unique doggie swim will wrap up our summer pool season at Mumford’s Landing. Dogs and their owners are invited to splash, paddle & play in the Mumford's Landing Pool just before closing the pool for the season. All dog handlers must be at least 18 years of age & youth under 17 must accompanied by a registered adult.   This event benefits the Worcester County Humane Society.

 

COST: $6 per dog; FREE for human companion!

This beautiful Federal period manor house was built circa 1800 and is Salisbury Maryland's oldest home. Now operated as a museum, the home was originally built by Major Levin Handy on a part of the tract called Pemberton's Good Will. Luckily, this house was far enough removed from the great fires in the center of town during the mid 19th century that it escaped destruction. The two-story, five-bay house is richly decorated dwelling retaining a high percentage of its original woodwork. The bold block cornices, intricate fanlight entrance and Palladian style windows are prominent exterior features. The interior spaces are distinguished by a wealth of neoclassical carved woodwork and has recently been restored to its original color scheme and furnished true to its period.

 

When you tour with us we ask that you bring along a non-perishable food item to share with our local food bank, The Joseph House. 

Legendary lead vocalist of Mr. Greengenes, Bryen O'Boyle has also been making waves as a an acoustic artist.  Don't miss his amazing performances! Make sure you come for Happy Hour at Skye Bar from 3-6pm! Raw bar Happy Hour specials include $1 oysters and 1 1/4lb. lobster for $26. Drink specials include $6.75 Smirnoff Crushes, $5.00 Rails, $1 Off Drafts, and $5.50 House Wines.

The evening of the full moon is such a treat because the sun sets at the same time that the moon rises! We will paddle to a small island to observe both of these performances and then return to land by the light of the moon. Minimum age for the Sunset/Moonrise Tour is 16 years old.

 

Our certified kayak guides give a short instructional session before the tour and also supply all of the safety gear. We use single and tandem top-of-the-line recreational kayaks. These boats are stable, comfortable, and user-friendly. (Touring and sit-on-top kayaks are also available upon request.)

Come join our monthly gathering of local writers at the Ocean City Library as we share our independent work (poems/essays/memoirs/prose, etc.) and receive encouraging feedback from fellow participants. We help each other hone individual strategies of effective writing and improve the quality and comfort of oral presentation. Ruth Wanberg-Alcorn will lead the group. All writers are welcome!
