THE BOAT

"My Sanity" is a 1971 35' Bertram fly bridge sportfish powered by twin 300 H.P. Cummins Diesels. "Bertram" speaks for itself and the 1971 35' ranks as one of the strongest sportfishing vessels ever constructed. Its overly thick fiberglass hull has proven to be indestructible and has earned the reputation of "proven fish raiser". The "My Sanity" was completely updated in winter of 1995 including 2 new 300 H.P. Cummins Turbo charged Diesels, along with a new Onan Diesel Generator. "My Sanity" is equipped with all the latest electronics - Furno Radar, Raytheon Loran, Color Depth/Fish Finder, Surface Temperature Guage, 2 Icom VHF Marine Radios and an E.P.I.R.P. For your guaranteed safety she sports all the latest in U.S.C.G. Safety equipment. She has a roomy fully enclosed head and in the fully air conditioned and heated Salon you'll find sofa, refrigerator, TV, VCR, and microwave, all for your comfort. In the cockpit is a bait freezer always full of fresh baits, a huge fish box to keep your catch fresh, 2 pompenette fighting chairs or, if you prefer, all the latest in stand up equipment. You will always be served by an experienced professional mate. "My Sanity" has a range of 250-300 miles so there is never a concern of fuel capacity. She cruises at 21-23 knots and is capable of speeds up to 28 knots.

THE CAPTAIN

Capt. Wally Waynick has successfully fished the back bays and ocean waters of Ocean City MD. for over 30 years. Capt. Wally Waynick holds a U.S.C.G. master license #670257. He has owned and operated the "My Sanity" charter boat since 1990. He has won numerous tournaments since that time either at the wheel of "My Sanity" or when hired to Capt. other privately owned vessels.
