The BILLFISHER was built by Ricky Scarborough in Wanchese North Carolina; She was completed just in time to fish the 1998 season.   At  61 feet long, and with 17 feet of beam she is one of the largest boats fishing out of Ocean City Maryland.  Powered by  twin Caterpillar  3412s at 1350 horsepower each the BILLFISHER can cruise to the canyons at speeds over 30 knots.
